Privacy policy
Last updated: November 4, 2026. This is a plain-language policy for Place of Art, run by Travis Lee (contact).
What we collect
- Account details. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and display name through Firebase Authentication.
- Settings and shared content. We store your interface preferences, and any templates or collaboration messages you choose to share, in Firebase's Firestore database.
- Billing status. We store your trial and subscription status. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
- Your projects. Projects are saved where you choose to save them. Voice samples used for voice cloning are saved only on your device.
Who processes your data
- Google Firebase for sign-in and database storage.
- Google Gemini API for AI features. When you use one, the text, images, audio or other input for that request is sent to Google to produce the result. Please do not use these features with content you are not allowed to share. Google's own terms and privacy policy apply to that processing.
- Stripe for payments and the billing portal.
- Google Cloud for hosting.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not show ads.
Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the data tied to your account by emailing us. You can cancel a subscription at any time in the billing portal. Clearing your browser storage removes locally saved settings and voice samples from your device.
Children
Place of Art is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way we will update the date above.
